Above the Cave (1979)

This setting of the Denise Levertov poem "Above the Cave" is one of my first electronic music pieces. I produced this track at the Pomona College electronic music studio during spring break in 1979, when I had the music building to myself. Most of the work involved tape manipulation - splicing, looping, overdubbing. Synth sounds are from an ARP 2500. Vocals performed by Lauren Burton.
