Originally written for a planetarium show at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles in 1979, this composition did not make it into the show, but was performed by the Pomona College Women’s Glee Club that spring. It was revived by Magen Solomon decades later when she performed it numerous times with San Francisco Choral Artists and the San Francisco Girls Chorus.
